Christine Göttler

Christine Göttler is an associate professor of Art History in the University of Washington School of Art in Seattle. She earned her MA and PhD at the University of Zurich. Her current research interests include art patronage of the Portuguese merchants in early modern Antwerp; visual media and religious practice; northern Netherlandish art; Jesuit art, and the imagery of the soul.
