Introduction

I am Associate Professor Art History at Emory University, specializing in Italian Renaissance Art and Architecture. I have published on courtly culture in the urban centres of fourteenth-century France and Italy. My current research deals with art and the poetry of commonwealth in early Renaissance Tuscany.
